One , three screw pump works
Screw screw intermeshing rely on the volume of the space to change the transmission fluid . Volume of the suction chamber at one end of the sealing line is continuously moved axially toward the discharge end of the chamber when the screw is rotated, the suction chamber increases, the pressure decreases, the suction tube into the liquid in the suction chamber along the pressure differential . With the rotation of the screw , the sealing liquid chamber continuously and uniformly in the axial direction to move to the discharge chamber , the volume of the discharge end of the chamber is gradually reduced, the liquid is discharged soon .
Screw pumps are positive displacement , which determines the pressure in the piping system which is connected with the total resistance .
Second, the screw pump features:
① excellent self-priming performance.
② almost zero flow pulsation .
③ simple and compact structure.
④ extremely simple maintenance requirements.
⑤ make you satisfied life.
⑥ no foam and eddy transport medium .
Third, the type of the medium conveying :
1, the lubricating liquid, such as machine oil , spindle oil , transformer oil , heavy oil and other residue ;
2, low lubricity liquids such as gas oil , light diesel oil and heavy diesel oil , hot asphalt , coal tar , etc.
3 , a viscous liquid , such as grease, viscose , asphalt.
Selection Notice four, three screw pump
Although the three screw has many advantages , but if improper selection, then not only not satisfactory operating results , and can cause noise and vibration of the pump, or even serious damage to the internal parts of the pump so that the pump system is not working properly , therefore , Selection should carefully consider multi reasonable selection, if necessary, should I plant technical department.
When three screw pump selection, pump as much as possible to make a detailed understanding of the conditions of use , in addition to operating parameters such as flow, pressure needs to clearly outside the transport properties of the medium , such as corrosive media , including steam , with the ratio of solid solution and the size of the solid particles and the medium temperature , viscosity , specific gravity, and other corrosive materials and suction pump device condition , installation conditions have to understand , based on our experience, three screw pump selection should pay attention to the following point :
1 . Pump speed selection
Specifications transport medium to determine the viscosity and pump speed range :
1.1 delivery high viscosity medium , low speed pump should be selected , if the viscosity is low , the corresponding optional high speed:
Medium viscosity > When 150cst, the large size of the pump ( the main bar outside diameter 60mm and above) , speed to 970rpm or 720rpm appropriate, if a higher viscosity ( viscosity ) 600cst) such as viscose liquid , can reduce the speed using the recommended 200 - 500rpm;
For the small size of the pump , medium viscosity > When 150cst, speed 970rpm to 1450rpm or appropriate, if a higher viscosity (viscosity ) 600cst), can reduce the speed using the recommended 300-600rpm;
1.2 Since the higher pump speed , in the same performance parameters, the smaller the volume of the pump , but because of high speed, high power friction , wear of the pump is large, the life is short, if the transmission medium or poor lubrication comprising trace impurities should choose a lower speed in order to extend the life of the pump , it is recommended 1450rpm or less.
2 Select the structure may reference series and three screw type pump according to the installation and use of the conditions to carry out , in principle :
2.1 conveying lubricating oils at temperatures below 80 ° C to select the built- bearing structure of the pump ;
2.2 the temperature exceeds 80 ° C or transport medium lubrication is poor, select the external pump bearing structure ;
Select the structure of the double heating pump delivery pump 2.3 illiquid , high viscosity media or require the transmission medium heat or thermal insulation ;
2.4 high-temperature transport , should choose a pump made of high-temperature materials , please contact our factory .

· Three screw pump flow and pressure at the same speed, the viscosity of approximately linear relationship, the higher the pressure, the flow rate is smaller.

· Same speed, viscosity, and pressure is approximately proportional to shaft power.
· Same viscosity, under pressure, shaft power and speed is approximately proportional.
· When the viscosity increases, flow and shaft power are increased, but the relationship is more complex because of which, if necessary, to the professional advice.
As long as the proper selection, maintenance and reasonable, three screw pump can achieve satisfactory operating results.
